ASAI Complaints Bulletin 06/5
Adjudications of the independent Complaints Committee of the Advertising Standards Authority for Ireland on complaints in respect of 20 advertisements, 17 of which attracted complaints from consumers and the remaining three were complaints of an intra-industry nature were released on 2nd November 2006.
At their meeting the Complaints Committee found 16 of the advertisements complained of to be in breach of the Codes of Advertising Standards on various grounds relating to truthfulness, decency and propriety and comparisons. The advertisements complained of related to posters, radio, press and brochures. (Click here for the adjudications).
